October 2009

OH MY GOODNESS!! I cannot believe that the last time I have posted anything was clear back in July! Where has the time gone? Many things have changed here and that is possibly part of the reason that I have not been here. Back in March I changed positions and have been extremely busy. We have gotten ready to say goodbye to our planner/scheduler Jason. He is moving on to another facility as a site supervisor. We wish you lots of luck in your future endeavors! We are welcoming a brand new planner/scheduler, Tim Morgan! We said goodbye to Lynelle Smith who was in the supply chain and said welcome back to Marjie Danison who replaced her. Now we are gearing up for yet another change. With it all we continue to do superior service for our customer and look forward to growing soon and increasing our work force!

JULY!!!!

Can you believe it is JULY? So many things have changed around here. We lost a lot more people and other people have changed roles. This week started the rolling layoffs with people being off various weeks through out the month.

I am excitedly looking forward to things starting to turn around and seeing the possibility of people getting to come back to work.

Before you know it, December will be here and the snow will be flying. I hope I get back here before that happens!

March...

Can you believe we are in our 3rd week of March already? We all have been experiencing many changes over the past few weeks. We have either known someone who has faced or we ourselves have faced layoffs. With the upcoming week shutdown, many of us will join the ranks in the unemployment world. All we can do is hope for a quick turn around in this economy. How terrible to realize the enormity of the whole picture. It does not matter if you are company or contract, there is always the possibility of getting your pink slip. There is always going to be that bottom dollar mark that must be met. No matter what the circumstance, I am still happy to be a free American even if I do have to hit the unemployment line.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

End of another month

Wow, its getting really close to the end of another month here at ATS. Where does the time go? We are seeing many changes here at our facility and I'm sure there will be many more to come. With the coming month's end, we will be loosing a couple more employees and wish them well upon their separation. We are anxiously anticipating an upturn in the economy, along with the rest of the Nation. Some of us have never been through times like these and it is really something to live through. It makes us greatly appreciate having a job. So many of the wonderful people we work with will be leaving in April and hate to see many of them go. Lets all keep our nation in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for being a part of ATS!!

Hello all you ATS employees and blog readers! WOW.. can you believe its already almost the middle of February? For those of you who dont know, there is a new employee discount for ATS employees. Its for "From You FLowers". Check out the link on the ATS homepage to get the code and the discounts and send a loved one something nice for Valentines day!! There are several discounts available to you and if you know of anything that you can get at a discounted rate, let us know to see if Corporate can contact them and make a deal.

There are many changes going on out here on the shop floor, but hang in there and keep your heads up and continue to give the excellent service you are becoming known for. Without you people out on the floor doing what you do, we cant do what we in the office do.

2009

2009 has brought about many changes. With the changes come many things we do not like to face. We had to say goodbye to many people that were part of our ATS family for a few years, and some that had just joined recently. As we look to the future, we aspire to continue our proven work ethic and aspire to continue to show the customer that we are needed. It is thanks to each person here that we are still here, even in our minimal numbers.

With our Cultural Commitments that center around Continuous Improvement, we continue to grow and improve to continue to "make factories run better".
