Getting Ready for the Holidays


For some the holidays bring sadness, others it brings much happiness. Food is an enormous issue for a lot of people during the holidays. This is a healthy recipe for pumpkin pie for those of you who are trying to be health conscious during the holidays.

Recipes

We had a few people ask for the recipe for the Taco salad that Steve brought to the last potluck. Below is the recipe.

Taco Salad:

1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 pack taco seasoning
1 bag taco doritos
1 bag shredded taco cheese
1 bag salad mix
1 bottle western dressing

Cook hamburger and add taco seasoning according to packet. Add bag of salad, cheese and dressing. Then mash bag of doritos and add them. Put in large bowl and shake until well coated. Serve immediately before it becomes soggy.

Christmas Party 2007

Well, We have a date set for your Christmas Party. And a location!! We are going to be going to The Decatur Conference Center & Hotel on Saturday December 8, 2007. Appetizers will be served at 6:30 and Dinner will be served at 7:30. There are going to be great give aways and an optional gift exchange as well as some other activities. The Hotel has also blocked off a group of rooms if anyone does not want to drink and drive home, they are offering a discounted rate of $59 per room (minus taxes). There is going to be good food, fun and fellowship! Please try to attend!

October Potluck























We are going to be having a POTLUCK on Friday October 26, 2oo7.. the theme for this one is Chili recipes... anything having to do with chili dishes.. or spooky desserts. There are some great recipes out there for fun and easy recipes for dishes and desserts.

Christmas Party 2007



Our Christmas Party for 2007 is in the works. There are going to be a lot more fun and exciting things happening this year. I hope each person that is not working is going to try to make it this year. We have great food, great fun and great give-aways!

CPR TRAINING CLASS


We had one successful CPR class in September and are planning on having another one sometime in the month of October. Tom Logue and Marjie Danison do a great job of teaching the class. ATS will pay the certification fee for their employees, and will only charge $7.00 for family members of ATS employees.
