New Idea

OK... I've had a new idea. I wish I had thought of it prior to the New Year. I am going to be listing our folks birthdays on the blog at the beginning of the months so each person can take the initiative to wish that person a Happy Birthday! All you people in January and February I apologize for not thinking of this sooner!!

Upcoming Events

Wow, can you believe Easter is almost here? Before we know it, summer will be upon us and we are going to be griping about how hot it is out in the shop. We're going to be begging for bags of ice and ice water! I know we all are wishing it was warmer now, but in reality all we're doing is wishing our lives away!

We have a lot of new changes. We have some new employees coming and are excited for them to join our workforce. Some of our regular employees have been moving around. Steve recently went back to maintenance and Marjie went to the torque area. Pat will be heading back to the maintenance area really quickly. We recently acquired Tony who is our new torque tech. We have a new crib attendant starting on March 3. The supervisors have been busily interviewing various people to find good matches for our company.

These are just a few of the things happening. I'll try to keep you updated as to the exciting things coming up within our facility!

February is almost gone

With February almost gone it seems that the outlook for the rest of this year is going to be flying by! Things change so quickly. We have had some really good folks leave our company and are searching for some new great ones to replace the ones who have left.

• PRESIDENTS AWARD!!! Congratulations to each employee at our Decatur Facility! It is a huge thing to make it a year with ZERO OSHA incidents. We greatly appreciate all of you that helped our sites achieve this goal. Lets keep it going and keep moving forward with another new record we can set for our sites here. Lets all continue to Live Safety! Remember our site motto "Work at the speed of SAFETY"!!!
• $$ For Referrals: ATS offers you $$ for referrals. If you refer someone to ATS, you can get $. You get 1/2 of the referral fee when they reach 30 days of employment and the other 1/2 of the referral fee when they reach their 180 day mark. The referrer and referree must both be employeed by ATS at the time of payout to receive the bonus.
• Employee Discounts: Did you know that ATS offers some great employee discounts? There is a large variety of employee discounts on the ATS homepage. These are a great added bonus available to each of us.
• Training Options: Did you know that in addition to your required safety training that you can do elective training with a variety of courses offered to each ATS employee through Skillsoft? On the ATS homepage, you can click on training and then go to skillsoft. From there you can elect a wide variety of training courses ranging from courses for the FMS side to the IT side, plus many business courses. These courses are all available to you at no cost to you.
